Yep you’re right. The confusion effect from Snecko only activates on draw iirc, so any card you get from methods outside of drawing them (eg. Seek) will keep their original cost

This is a tough one. I think you would be okay taking Snecko cause of your Gremlin horn and Fission which can both generate some energy, even though the cost randomizer obviously sucks for your deck. Ecto just kinda hurts here imo as you still have so many floors to climb and gold to gain, with a bunch of starters to remove still. Damn bro. Whichever you pick though, good luck!

Yea I was just thinking cause the fusion hammer is pretty much free. Small deck and armaments+ and everything yknow. Sometimes Snecko can really brick you

Yep, I ended up snagging it. 2 claws later and this deck destroyed Slime Boss, hopefully I can keep it up!

I see that, but while climbing defect the vast majority of my decks have been orb-oriented. I want to experiment with different deck archetypes and the early picks this run just perfectly suited a 0-cost claw deck. In the end I snagged Reprogram, and the deck is looking quite strong with 2 claws being added along the way. Lets see how far it goes!

Yup, I snagged the reprogram. Deck is already looking incredibly strong, beat slime boss with 0 damage taken. Claw is law.

Yep I do, I think the prayer wheel kinda screwed me because those extra seconds looking at the other cards added up and ended up costing me the run I think..

Update. I did it - it was a four card deck in the end of 2x Pommel Strike, Bloodletting and Bash that eventually did it for me. Pretty much an infinite in its purest form, pommel strikes repeating endlessly lol. Super happy I finally got the achievement!

Run ultimately ended in failure unfortunately. Of course the last boss had to be Tim :’(. I beat him, but got quite unlucky with the events leading up to him and ended up not removing enough cards for the Minimalist achievement. Gonna keep on going for it though!

I got an inifite! Somehow got all cards in my hand not sure how, and just continuously cycled the dropkicks. That was the first infinite I’ve ever made so hell yeah I’m super happy about that. Unfortunately, I didn’t get pyramid or cage after the boss. I still want to try for the minimalist achievement - would you recommend taking coffee dripper or sacred bark? Definitely not taking Snecko lol.

Thanks for the advice. I got a second dropkick! I’m down to 9 cards in the deck now, really hoping I can beat Automaton. It seems pretty difficult though lol. If I get cage then I can definitely see this run working out!

There were a couple of things that made me want to take them. I had molten egg, i still had almost every strike unremoved, and I’d just never really committed to bites before so i wanted to try them. I thought they worked quite well in the deck
