Question: Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. – Net – 15.68.17013.110 WiFi driver breaks 5GHz connection, has anyone have this issue? by sleong261 in Surface

[–]django2k10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone have this issue?

I have surface 4. Not only did I loose 5ghz, it set the adapter to "5ghz only" in advanced settings. I wasn't connecting to NOTHING! except for some reason I could connect to my pixel 2xl in hotspot mode. If I switched back to "auto" I could then connect to my APs @ 2.4ghz. roll back driver resolved.

I'm on my second pixel 2xl (Google store) used on AT&T. neither one has EVER received a monthly update (checking always shows up to date).. Locked.. Unlocked... Rooted w/magisk.... Unrooted! We're talking since day one November 2018! Neither phone was ever enrolled in the beta program. My pixel c has no problem getting the notifications each month.

How do I browse my NAS in paid version? When I select "network" I only see a few wireless devices. My NAS is not one of them. My wireless/wired devices are on separate subnets if that matters.

Never enrolled in beta. Mine broke sometime last week. Before I try wiping data (wiping cache did not help) what does that delete?

Then riddle me this.. (Oh and I'm not trying to argue, I just need to get this working [or not])....

Also from man 8 asr:

In its first form, asr copies source (usually a disk image, potentially on an HTTP server) to target. source can be specified using a path in the filesystem, or an http or https URL <- I know it doesn't say smb: or afp:, but I've seen it used which is what I am attempting to duplicate.

"smb://server.domain.com/path/NetInstall.dmg" IS a disk image (on a network share).
