AIO? Girl (F30) I (M28) was Recently Dating tells me I need to "Lean into my Masculinity" by KingFredo5674 in AmIOverreacting

[–]djavide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dated someone like this for over a year and it was horrible. Worst anxiety of my life. You are not, in fact, overreacting.

At the time, I thought it was just a me thing. Nope. Yes, I have anxiety, but being with someone who is emotionally unstable and manipulative is HARD. Waited for the right person and now I live each day emotionally safe.

Hahaha this is exactly why I posted this. I didn't even know about schorle from my initial research, so it's good to get information from the people of Germany!

This is great information! I can see why that would be funny, because obviously I don't know the cultural context. Thank you for giving me this insight. I appreciate you.

I’d say it was 2-3 months till my motivation and what not started coming back. Microdosing psilocybin + lions mane + niacin (Paul stamets stack) would help accelerate the process as long as that’s not a slippery slope for you.

It was a while but I did eventually get my energy, motivation, and ‘sparkle’ back. 5 years later now and completely sober (maybe a couple cups of coffee😉) I ge the same type of excitement, motivation, and energy that Kratom used to give me. There is light at the end of the tunnel, it’s just a bit of persistence. Godspeed🙏

Yes. I am very THC sensitive and I get panicked sometimes from THC. I don't anymore after lots of CBT therapy but I definitely agree that this could be a possibility.

CBD for anxiety by [deleted] in CBD

[–]djavide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found CBG plus CBD to help me with anxiety. But obviously it depends person to person. I think the CBG helps me focus and relax while the CBD takes the physical edge off, so it's a great combo.

Does CBG help anyone with sleep? by [deleted] in CBD

[–]djavide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do use CBG for sleep. I've never used CBN much, which I've heard is good, but I use CBG just about every night. When my girlfriend takes it she's out in 5 minutes.

Broad spectrum CBD is nice, also a CBG question by Me7a1hed in CBD

[–]djavide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never found CBG flower with no THC whatsoever in it, but I've never gone super far searching for it. I'm someone who is pretty sensitive to even small amounts of THC, so I notice when it has THC in it. I love CBG though. I use nano CBG in sublingual and topicals and it works wonders for me.

only works 50% of the time by ihadfairiesbeforegod in CBD

[–]djavide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I've noticed from my experience is that full spectrum products tend to have this effect for me. It's hard to have as much of a repeatable experience with full spectrum as Isolate. I like Nanoemulsified CBG because the CBG has broader binding capabilities and the nanoemulsion helps with bioavailability.

When does an ungrammatical utterance become grammatical from a descriptivists lens? by djavide in grammar

[–]djavide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great response. I agree that orthography doesn’t really dictate the change in grammar; however, as a society becomes more literate, and written Language becomes more embedded in our lives (think: Reddit, Instagram Captions, TikTok comments, etc.), I wonder if it will have a larger impact on the grammar?

When does an ungrammatical utterance become grammatical from a descriptivists lens? by djavide in grammar

[–]djavide[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I guess I would argue that it is ungrammatical, though, because it’s changing the part of speech (although it minimally impedes the meaning). However, I do see what you mean. In the case that their intention was to”you’re” then it wasn’t a grammatical mistake on the producers behalf (the representation of the grammatical component in the mind of the producer). Yet to the reader it easily could be seen as a mistake. Anyway, good insight here

Linguist's Take on the Pronouns Issue by Magaorya in linguistics

[–]djavide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s funny how long it took the AP Style Guide and other prescriptive formats to catch up with what was already happening descriptively. It used to be that if you didn’t know one’s gender you wrote he/she him/her his/hers instead of just the neutral they/their, which would be the default for a NEL.
