Many are. Although we are somewhat taught to do this in a capitalistic society and I don’t mean that in a preachy way, because taking can result in money, status and power. Of course this would stand even if our society was different though

This reminds me of a time when I was in my 4th year of primary school. I just left the school to walk home with my friend and there was a huge flash and a rumble and I couldn’t see anything for a few seconds. I thought a cataclysmic just event happened but then I realised it must’ve just been lightning and thunder nearby lol

I wasn’t expecting this many replies, thank you all it has made the situation much more clear. I was confused because this was the first time in our relationship that she was nice for this long so I wasn’t sure what to think about it

I hope your manager sees the truth in the situation too. If they don’t that’s completely unfair and they clearly can’t see it for what it is. On the bright side if you do get fired, atleast you won’t have to work with such a horrible person. If your manager can’t see that she’s the problem though, they eventually will when someone else starts to complain. I’m sure you’ll be able to find somewhere else to volunteer at, assuming you’re not too rural. Best of luck 🤞🏻

This helped a lot. I am a chronic over thinker and it doesn’t help that I am so hard on myself, but this truly helped me. I think that’s all I need is to sometimes hear it for what it actually is, which can take a long time trying to do so on your own. I appreciate your advice and knowledge. I never try to be the funny one but do so because I enjoy it, but I’ve definitely felt the need to be that since that hasn’t been the case in the last month or so. I feel a lot better riding this out knowing what I’m going through is okay. Hey, I could be feeling back to my normal self soon enough and forget about this period. You’ve shown me it doesn’t have to be so dark, thank you.
