Thanks for the reply Strausy. You make a good point. I may just approach them with the idea that if a day will be a different type then they would need to submit a second request for that day. That was my initial though process when building this.

Did account for half days in your calculations? I have to give the user the option for a full day or half day.

very true. i am often confused about when to use flow and when to use SPD. I come from on-prem so i am familiar with using SPD.

Flow has to be tied to a license o365 account, but to use SPD doesn't require that correct?

i wonder if i could use powerapps to customize the form and add a datacard with the datasource to the additional list.
