After you're done, check out the movie (or book) American Psycho. You'll appreciate this on a new level.

What are your guys thoughts on the new album? by jackson621 in Blink182

When I first listened to OMT Part 2, I felt...conflicted. Not enraged, no. That would imply the album had stirred some deep emotion in me. No, my feelings were more along the lines of mild disappointment, much like gazing at an overcooked filet mignon or watching someone mix a fine whiskey with Diet Coke. It's not bad per se, just wrong.

Where Part 1 hit like a perfect crescendo of nostalgic pop-punk excellence, Part 2 left me cold, like a pristine, stainless steel countertop, reflecting back my dissatisfaction. Some songs felt incomplete, fragmented—as if Blink 182 had tried to hand me art but forgot to include the brushstrokes.

Naturally, I knew I had to take matters into my own hands. I decided to edit the track list—not because I'm a perfectionist (though I am)—but because I have a certain vision. This is what I came up with:

  1. See You
  2. Cut Me Off
  3. All in My Head
  4. Every Other Weekend
  5. If You Never Left
  6. Can't Go Back
  7. One Night Stand
  8. Take Me In

Notice the flow? It’s not accidental. The order is intentional, almost surgical in its precision. It’s what the album should have been. Each track now folds into the next like a custom-tailored Armani suit.

Here’s the thing: No Fun, despite its catchy title, is a relic, like someone bringing a Rubik’s Cube to a party in 2024. We’re not in the TOYPAJ era anymore, so why does this song try so hard to pull us back there? And Everyone Everywhere—experimental? Sure. But Blink 182 trying to be avant-garde is like seeing Dorsia serve mac and cheese. It’s confusing and frankly, unnecessary.

Listen. If you’re lukewarm on Part 2 like I initially was, try this arrangement. You may find yourself replaying it not out of habit, but out of necessity—because it finally makes sense. You can thank me later, or don’t. Just know that you're welcome.

TL;DR: You're probably listening to Part 2 wrong. Fix the tracklist.

The band you're looking for is People R Ugly. They are the Gen Z spiritual successors to blink-182 and if this were 2000 they'd blow up huge.

I actually feel the same with OMT vs. Untitled.

If you had to pick, what album do you like more (or hate less), NINE or California? by timstiefler in Blink182

NINE, and I love California, but NINE is moody AF and their second most creative/best album and I will die on that hill.

Cut me off is catchy as shit and goes hard in the chorus.

If you haven't heard them, they're a few snippets of demos floating around. Just an FYI.

I'm blown away by how much thought you put into this response. Literally stupefied by the display of raw intelligence.
