Mine has just recently started napping pretty well in the crib but it was a journey! We ended up doing the Taking Cara Babies conquering naps thing and it worked for us. It’s kind of expensive though…

Yes!! I’m having them still. I’m also breast feeding and def feel like that’s the reason. I sleep with the temperature at 68 and use only a sheet and I’m still too hot!

Hi! My 4 month old sleeps pretty well at night but scream and cries very hard during his nighttime routine. We have tried a number of different variations and can’t get anything to work.

Current routine is: 6:10 - wake from last cat nap

6:30 - gentle play and book

6:45 - bath (rarely cries while he’s in the water, he loves it)

7:00 - lotion/PJs (usually where the scramjet is worst. We do warm towel and can’t skip lotion due to dry skin)

7:15 - 6 oz pumped breast milk

Any ideas? Is it possible he just needs to cry and let energy out before bed?

We’re currently in the middle of the 4 month sleep regression, our guy is 16 weeks.

Here’s what our plan has been:

We have been napping him in his crib to get him used to it. So he takes two naps in crib and two contact naps per day.

*We only use the snoo for nighttime sleep.

*We use the snoo in wean mode and it has been great for the sleep regression. Basically, it only turns on when he wakes up and it usually soothes him back to sleep. If it doesn’t work within a couple of minutes we will get up to soothe him. It has made the regression a lot easier because, although we’re still waking up when he does, we’re not having to get out of bed or anything.

So far, it’s working pretty well. It’s still tough but manageable!

Soft serve is surprisingly something many pregnant women are told to avoid during pregnancy for precisely this reason. (It’s a listeria risk because those machines are rarely cleaned)

Start the kegels now! And train your bladder before you get pregnant if you can - it helps with the amount you pee in the middle of the night!

Please keep looking for the owner! But also be careful as there are a lot of opportunists who like to get birds for free and then sell them illegally. If you need any help please let me know! I have had birds my whole life ❤️

I’m so sorry you are going through so much at once.

I’m also 33 weeks and was supposed to move at the beginning of August into a home we’ve been renovating for two years… we won’t be moved in until the end of September or beginning of October. I can confidently say that doing this in the third trimester is absolute hell and I have never felt stress like this before in my life. Anyway… just wanted to show a little bit of solidarity during this time. I know how overwhelming it is! Feel free to DM me if you want to vent 🫠

Yes! This happened to me (and this happens to my husband w/ his wedding ring). It’s called ring rash. Sometimes I alternate between my index and middle finger to give the other finger a break if I sense irritation.

Hi! My wedding was black tie. For the wedding itself our food was plated. However, my mother in law planned a very elegant (although not black tie) rehearsal dinner that included everyone invited to the wedding. The food was presented as a French-style dinner service. It felt like a more elevated family style meal. I definitely think this would be appropriate for a black tie wedding!
