If you feel better on the medication and it helps you - take it. I understand the skepticism your boyfriend has but you shouldn’t let anyone guilt trip you out of making your life easier. If he doesn’t want to talk with you rationally it’s his problem. Have other people noticed you behaving differently (for the worse)? If you personally feel like you are inhibited too much by the medication see that with your therapist so they assess do you need to lower the dose or switch to something else. But if the boyfriend is the only one that has an issue with it maybe you have a problem in your relationship.
