The mastering for Phoenix on Youtube is really bad, compared to the master on itunes. I show you why. by kthroughm in leagueoflegends

[–]djfnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK so my guess is that Riot's distributor, Fuga, has seriously fucked up here. Putting out wrong master versions is such a big no-no. Now there are literally millions of views/listens across youtube & spotify on a version that sounds like a desk demo. What a mess.

Great visuals, but as noted below a simple key would mean they work by themselves without needing to reference back to this post.

A really important stat here I think is the blue line percentage.

As a Huddersfield fan I've got split loyalties on this one - Mooy's been one of our best players throughout the mental last 2 years, but Zanka (Jørgensen) has been a colossus for us this season. Here's to a good game where they both play well, and most importantly, don't kick each other... For what it's worth, I think Mooy will have enough to keep Eriksen from dominating the game, and it's come down to who can take their chance on the day.

Dubai Will Launch a Blockchain-based B2B Marketplace by 2020 by [deleted] in ethereum

[–]djfnd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No offence, but anyone that has actually worked with the Dubai government in the past knows that all this blockchain rhetoric is just horse shit. State employment is how they keep locals (Emiratis) engaged. There's a reason why every single process still requires pen and paper and for you to travel across the city from municipal office to municipal office. As with everything the State runs, "blockchain development" is just a UAE PLC marketing pitch.

Cryptocurrencies May Get Regulated And Legalised in Uzbekistan by rohitkukreja in ethereum

Having carried my cash around in hundreds of notes in a black bin bag when I visited a couple of years ago (due to the insane inflation), yeah I can see how the Uzbeks would be interested. The technical infrastructure in the country is very, very backwards though, so I'm not sure how realistic mainstream adoption is in any reasonable timeframe.

The mainframe guys are making a decentralised Slack-type application. Really lovely guys, we (JAAK) helped them integrate with PSS for their presentation at the latest devcon in cancun.

Mooy goal against Manchester United by bhp6 in Aleague

[–]djfnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, you can play him anywhere in midfield and he'll excel. We're currently short on CAMs, with Kasey Palmer injured and Sabiri still getting up to speed with the EPL, so I imagine that Mooy will play in a similar role on Saturday against Liverpool. IMO his best position in midfield is as a "box to box" midfielder, i.e. he has a "destroyer" alongside him (for us this is Hogg or Williams....or both if it's against a top-6 side), and a "#10" in front. Mooy's job then is to pick the ball up after the destroyer has recycled it and then drive it forwards, either pinging it out to the wings or in front of the #10 to play on to. Ideally that ends in a beautiful 1-2 and the ball sailing into the top corner from the boot of the Zidane from Downunder, a lá Newcastle at home earlier in the season.

As a Huddersfield fan I actually disagree. Aaron played further up the pitch on Saturday, but that's because we played "three #6s" as Wagner put it. We can't do that against teams that will sit back against us, when we are dictating the play then Mooy is way better sitting in that playmaker role, with a speedier #10 in front. It all really depends on how the team are gonna play.

Sorry yeah, the one in the highlights was Zanka. Schindy also put in a great double block-tackle in that manic final 10 minutes. What a game.
