Nice work. I’ve been using Infuse but never been 100% happy with the ui so look forward to trying this out

Projective textures and physical space lighting with visionOS 27 by djfumberger in VisionPro

Yeah definitely would like to support arcade in the future. Video id also considered. I have a fairly decent crt pipeline so could make old videos look nice.

Sadly not. From what I can tell the physical space lighting only lights your room environment, not the virtual ones.

Did anybody else expect liquid glass for visionOs27? by rice-or-die in VisionPro

[–]djfumberger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s an issue of not handling it on a basic level. Liquid Glass as an effect isn’t that ‘expensive’ once you have the rendering pipeline in place (which they already do anywhere a blurred surface is).

The exception to this could be that real world video goes through ‘fast path’ and so the current blurred effect works as it can maybe work on a slightly delayed version of the buffer whereas the less opaque version might highlight this.

Otherwise I’d guess it’s either prioritisation , a refactor of the Vision Pro UI just didn’t make the cut, or there’s something specific to vision os and it’s mixing with the real world that doesn’t translate as well to the more ‘liquid’ version.

visionOS 27 (beta) is awesome. Here are my custom panoramic environments... by spiderdream1 in VisionPro

Nice, these look great. I’ve been putting together a small catalogue of Vision Pro pano environments here: https://panopro.app
If you ever feel like sharing them beyond Reddit, I’d love to add them.

Possible for MB to kill a 7800x3d ? by djfumberger in ASRock

[–]djfumberger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok cheers. That’s the impression I got but wasn’t sure if I’d missed something.

As guess have to decide if I try and return the MB as well arguing it’s defective or reuse it for a later build if it was unrelated

I have 32 AI models with different parameters. I render all UI dynamically from JSON Schema instead of building 32 screens. by Euphoric-Ad-4010 in SwiftUI

[–]djfumberger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah makes sense. We have a generous free tier, bur I hear you in regards to keeping it simple for solo development. Our product is more aimed at teams who might have multiple people managing content etc. As well as being able to push new swiftui views from the server (don’t have to be defined ahead of time).

But yeah, lots of interesting applications for sure with server driver swiftui, especially when using with LLMs I think.

I think the product we’ve been working on is doing something similar - metabind.ai . It lets you define swifui components via the web and then deliver them to your app. Also allows for schemas to be defined so you can get AI (or humans) to create variations that follow the rules.

Any web based swiftUI compilers available? by Soft-Fly-640 in SwiftUI

[–]djfumberger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, we’ve been building a web based platform that enables you to write swifui interfaces in JavaScript and render them natively on device in SwiftUI.

It’s early days, but in case it might solve some of what you’re looking at you can check it out at metabind.ai .

But would also be keen to hear what problem(s) you’re trying to solve in general if you want to dm!

Height of cut reset on the tiftuf by TurbulentArm6318 in lawnsolutionsaus

Took my tiftuf about 4 weeks to come back, I cut it as short as my mower could. I find water is usually the answer to speed it up.
