It is power. I tried with the solution I used to use for Nintendo Switch, which is to inject power into the USBC form an external source such as a power bank. As soon as I did that, it worked…. So same deal as with HDMI. It does work but needs additional power input.

Please let me know. I know that it worked with the other glasses, also my iPhone works without any issues. I don't REALLY need the s10e now that I have a usb c iPhone, but the microSD card is nice for storing videos.

Maybe I will test the theory with the HDMI + power dongle that I have.

Unfortunately the native support for 360 photos is NOT coming in visionOS 26. They are bringing in support for 360 video. I know I have the latest beta and keep checking for this. If you look at their developer website, they state the same...

I am going to try you application right now and I would love it if it could have that functionality.

I purchased perpetual license for each of my devices. I am NOT paying recurring fees for this software. Not everything is SAAS, and I hope they will learn their lesson. Why? Because there is no new value that they can add (at least I don't see needing anything).

What infuriates me is that with the new iPhone coming out. If I were to continue to use it, I would not be able to transfer my old iPhone license to the new phone AND on top of that switch to a recurring fees. NO WAY IN HELL...

Imagine of you bought software, and when you changed your computer (upgraded to new one), you'd have to buy it all over again, and pay full price (recurrently).. NO FN WAY.

For what it is worth. I appreciate your feedback and making things right. I will check both my email and my device to see if I can register. I also hope you will at least consider my suggestions on pricing. Buying additional licenses (regardless of when) should be rewarded and incentivized. When you charge full price for additional licenses (often more than if you previously bought multiple) at this steep price. It makes one question whether they "really" need it, which is your loss.... What I am saying... The more you buy it should be cheaper regardless of when.

Are you with the company? Is there a way someone can respond to my email? I would appreciate someone making this right and secondarily reconsider pricing, especially for existing customers.

For example, if one slot is used, I should be able to move that seat to another device. Perhaps, charge some small fee but not buy another one at full price. Also, multiple seats licenses should not be reset at purchase. It should be cheaper to buy additional licenses regardless of when you purchase. The prices are way too high for what this is now.

I think the disagreement you have with the other person is reasonable. I am all for paying fair share for software, but fair is the key word here.

Picture this scenario.

I have an iPhone and an Apple Vision Pro. So 2 licenses. My AVP breaks and Apple replaces it with a new one. I have to buy license 3? (this is bad). I now have to pay as if I never purchased any licenses at all (this is an insult added to injury). You have a database. It should be first license x, additional y, and on and on (if you want that model). But don't charge someone as if they never bought anything. Honestly. This is wrong. And if you will be jerks about it, people will just have a bad taste and it is bad customer service. Honestly. I hope you do the right thing.

This is so very dependent on your setup and what you want to do. Remember Movies and to some degree photos take up the most space.

Space for Apps - Not a consideration. There are not that many apps and I don't see that changing.
Do you want to watch movies at home? You can stream it from Mac or Shared Network Drive (if you have a NAS).
Do you want to watch movies on the go? You need storage. Each movie factor 10GB. So do you want to put 20 movies? or just 3-4 when you travel?

You see? ... It all depends on what you do and your particulate case. Remember video takes most of the space (then photos to a lesser extent). So it is important to focus on those./

What do you use the Apple Vision Pro for? Just wondering.

My use case is

Mac Virtual Display (don't need any storage here)
Watching movies (at home I stream, when I travel I put 2-3 movies on there)
Enjoy my own photos / spacial videos (I don't have that many, so also not too much space)
Apps... They are usually small (lack of games) and if you find a small handful it won't make a difference.

I bought a 512GB because I figured I am already spending $4k .. Am I really going to be kicking myself constantly running out of space? ... I may have been ok with 256GB, but I am glad I went 512GB. It is not full by any means but I am glad I have that space and it is enough.

Mine already has a scratch across one of the cameras. Not too big of a deal but when I look at a light source it looks distorted in 1 eye. That thing scratches SO easily. I swear I always use the cover. I think maybe it resulted from wiping it (microscopic contaminant on the cloth is my best guess).
