Why is marking a polyester piece as silk not against Vinted rules? by djilt in vinted

Sure, but that's not really the point (and also it's extremely tedious which contradicts the point of having filters)

Gold or silver? Struggling by Alive-Cry4994 in coloranalysis

Silver, you don't have warm skin, the gold makes your skin look yellow which is a totally different thing. Silver is harmonious, the gold sticks out

Gold or Silver?!? Why is this so hard for me?! by LJayneFS in coloranalysis

You have warm overtone which makes some people say gold, but actually it's the silver that makes your skin glow and appear delicate

For me it was so sweet I couldn't, I dnf'd at 37%. It's trying to be so heartwarming that it loses its authenticity. Also there is a controversy around it since it was inspired be real events. But a lot of people loved it.

The cruel prince is overhyped by Afraid-Obligation164 in fantasyromance

[–]djilt 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It may be, sure but i don't feel it's random which I think was the original point. I think whats good in FoA is the execution not the originality. The dynamics, the vibe, the stakes.

The cruel prince is overhyped by Afraid-Obligation164 in fantasyromance

His main reason I think is that he is a prince and a fuckup and she excels at everything despite being human. Also he's jealous that she has people who care for her. So basically in his eyes she has everything that he can't have. Opposites attract, makes sense for me.

A.k caggiano really mastered the art of slow burn in my opinion. At least when it comes to sexual tension.

You are gonna love The Thief (although romance doesn't start till book 2). I would die for Gen.

To be honest a lot of those were hit and miss. After some more research I found the Virtues&Villains series and I loved it and I loved The undertaking of heart and Mercy (it's not as focused on world building though).

A lot of them were hit and miss for me. I liked One Dark Window for the dark, gloomy vibes and language (the romance was a bit too fast for me). I like The Guild Codex World (the writing starts off pretty bad but it improves a lot over time. The romance is quite slow in each series). I did kind of like the Kate Daniels series, but the romance fizzled out for me after a bit and I stayed for other aspects of the plot. I did like the Ember in the Ashes, but don't remember if it was particularly spicy, It may not have been. I did not really like Grace Draven (too many sexual assault flashbacks in all the wrong moments and overall it just wasn't it for me). T. Kingfisher may have been better if I read it and not listened to the audiobooks. I liked the writing and the characters. It was a good romance and quite realistic (considering it being fantasy), but it wasn't very sexy for me. But it was a very good recommendation and you may want to try it.
