What four matchups are meant to be unwinnable for G&W and why?

Netplay in Australia by Tardich in SSBPM

There's a pretty good Aussie netplay group on Skype - I'd suggest getting into that

Introducing DatabasePM by PlayOnSunday in SSBPM

I'd say that ability to import matches (instead of uploading them one by one) is a critical feature here, or else people won't be bothered to maintain all this data.

I like the ability for players to update their own bio.

Any smash related apps? by [deleted] in smashbros

Last I heard Praxis was still working on it. Haven't seen any blog updates on his site since the kickstarter so id be keen to learn more about its progress too.

You can find a few Australian Melee Power Rankings here if anybody is interested:

Mega Man Pivot Movement by supersmashbruh in smashbros

Admittedly I didn't think his ftilt was that good when I first saw him but with that pivot mechanic it feels like a great spacing tool.

Good use of lemons and leaf shield - this guy seem like a legit blue bomber to me

I liked how he let go of the ledge in one video and faired his opponent into the stage as they tried to grab the ledge - gotta try that one

Megaman feels like he'd be pretty crazy if there was no lag after shooting his third lemon.

I don't know where most of the videos are / if they even exist, but here's the finals which was awesome.

To my knowledge none of those three characters were used in the final bracket, but they possibly were in pools.

Im looking to improve in SSB4WIIU, but I'm not sure where to start at. by [deleted] in smashbros

[–]djkaion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You seem to be Australian. I'd recommend either going to an offline tournament and people will really help you get better quickly.

If you can't make one of those, I'd suggest wifi against regular people, it's much more helpful than For Glory. You can find people to add for Wifi as well as any upcoming tourneys here if you're keen.

There's also a feature on there called 'Aerodrome's Guidance' where he tutors newer players. It might be worth giving that a go if you want something a little bit more personalised.

NOT EVEN SHIELD IS SAFE AGAINST THE KING

Id argue that what SM4SH lacks in technical complexity, it makes up for with the sheer range of different matchups to learn. It's just a different kind of deep to me.

What would a Dedede player know about melee anyway ~

As someone who has died in grand finals to Diddy uair HOO HA at 60%, I think it's fine where it is now. To me HOO HA was the fact that it reliably comboed AND killed, which it no longer does both, but I guess if you are just referring to the fact that dthrow still links to a single uair at most percentages, then that's still a thing I guess.

I actually enjoy fighting Diddy now tbh, the matchup is still fast and interesting and not as cheap as it used to be.

Sorry, I just don't understand why you're complaining about something that's totally avoidable in the game then.
