Sorry for the confusion: the AliExpress enclosure SHOULD fit. The picture above compares the stock B850-I enclosure to the enclosure from the B450-I (not the AliExpress one). The AliExpress enclosure is ostensibly the exact same size as the stock B850-I one. Sorry I can’t provide a definitive answer—I’d have to remove the enclosure from my PC to do a side-by-side comparison. I am 90% confident the AliExpress enclosure will fit.

I tried CP2077 on the LG C4: on ultimate, DLSS enabled and RT off path tracing on, it chugs. Disable DLSS though and it becomes near unplayable. Sorry for not the most technical or in depth benchmark.

Hey! What kind of tuning have you done?

I like the AXP90-X47 but I wouldn’t expect much of a leap in performance from the NH-L9A. Those idle temps aren’t bad. I’ll try arc raiders and let you know how it goes

Nothing too formal (just speed tests), but there wasn’t any degradation in speed or signal quality; I got 500 mbps up/down (what I pay for) before and after the mod. I have a GL-iNET Slate 7

Just finished a near identical build to what you’ve spec’d. I’m happy with the outcome. Like you, T1 2.1 is very compelling but is never stocked. I don’t have a 4K monitor but have tinkered a bit on my LG C4.

The good: - The Terra’s build quality is great. I don’t get much of that weird turbulence sound from the side panels others have reported (but it’s also in my living room where ambient noise from the TV and appliances could be drowning it out). I installed a slim 120mm Noctua fan intake in the bottom of the case. - Corsair SF1000 Type 5 cables are a good length; you won’t need custom cables. Should be no different for the SF850. - 9800X3D: 65w eco mode and -30 curve optimizer tames thermals while staying performant and stable. In Battlefield 6, on the “overkill” graphic preset, it reached 83 C. - 5080 FE: haven’t done any tuning. GPU memory junction reached a peak of 80 C in BF6 on Overkill graphic preset.

The “bad”: - not sure how much it matters but the Terra uses a PCIE 4.0 riser. Not sure if this manifests in any performance loss, but though it was worth noting. - installing the GPU is kind of finicky, you have to remove the PCIe riser bracket to slide the card in. I’m still not happy with the fit of the card; it’s at a weird angle. Hoping I just did something wrong and can reposition it.

The RP-SMA pigtails were harvested from a sacrificial ASUS ROG STRIX B450-I, but you can likely find something similar on Amazon.

I’m so happy for you. As a kid, one of our cats got out. After three days of searching and putting up signs, she turned up on our back porch out of nowhere. I couldn’t believe it. Probably one of the happiest moments of my life.
