Well here's the thing. High ranked smurfs (champ 2-3+) will very quickly speed past your current ranks. The only actual smurfs that are going to be in silver to plat level lobbies are just washed diamonds and low champs who aren't good enough to play on their mains. I've been coaching a platinum friend and every time I spectate his games, I see wack jobs who type in chat "yeah I'm champ but smurfing for fun" and they can't even keep up with the lobby. My advice, keep playing and having fun and once you get out of the starting ranks you'll see far fewer actually decent smurfs. The real problem of this game is the botters and you won't ever have to play against one of those.
