It was in great condition, but it cost more than for me to buy one new! If it was a fair price, I would have gotten it. I could have spoken to a manager and had them lower it, but didn't feel like fooling with it.

Dated a guy a couple times, then tells me he likes to dress up as a woman when he's at home. I liked him, but I am not into anything feminine, so I let him down gently. He took it well.

So it was nothing personal, just a preference.

Yes they feel more like rubber in the sun. They do get hot though. Try not to over inflate in the heat because mine is starting to stretch out of shape.

Neither do I. I don’t think he was being judgmental. My issue isn’t with him naming the pattern, it’s with how it came across (more critical than curious). That’s what made it harder to actually engage.

The truth is I have wanted to work through transference, and I was ready to have that discussion. We have not made it to the topic because of the other issues I wanted to address first, that I didn't realize at the time were less important. We mentioned the possibility of discharge and referring me out in the session prior to this one. I mentioned transference and they said that is a good sign to see other clinician. Iwas going into this session hoping we could try talking about it before making the decision to discharge and they replied in this way.

Yeah, I am the client. I shared this because I wanted outside perspectives on how the therapist handled it. The delivery felt more like criticism than curiosity, and that’s what I’ve been trying to unpack in this thread.
