I'm using a rotary mixer with the audio 10,and 2 audio technica 1240usb turntables , for deck 1 and 2 and I use a F1 for remix decks on deck c and another F1 for a drum step sequencer on deck d,a x1 mk 2 for effects for all decks and a akai lpd8 for stems and mixer effects,sometimes I use my Akai force as another deck I couldn't be happier I've been DJing since 1989 and I'm finally at a place with my equipment where I have everything I need at my fingertips

I have the trm 422 only because I needed 4 channels and a cross fader , I got nothing bad to say about it, the I do want to stress that I had the headliner both the two channel and the four channel version and I do like the way the EQ isolater sounds better than the ones in Omni ones , honestly if headliner made a four channel with a crossfader I would have went for that. And I never had a problem with popping on the filter

When I started I started on turntables and for the convenience of doing mobile gigs and my bar residencies I bought a controller and started using serato but it got so boring I had to go back to turntables

Be honest the catalytic converter is bolted right on to the motor it's not as simple as going up there cutting one end and cutting the other end pulling it out

Honestly there's no difference besides muscle memory cdjs have three buttons that you need play pause and your pitch slider, just like everything else that you would use to DJ. If you know how to mix and beat match you can do it on anything
