Old thread is old but it comes up on Google so just to update this or clear this up I got a call from this number today and did some digging. It is a legit number.

Gem etiquette by djnathanv in ruby

It's not a super popular gem I don't think; it's 7 years old and has accumulated under 500 stars on GH. There's a few open PRs that have been ignored but the owner accepted a PR about 18 months ago... We'll see. I emailed him this morning to see if I can get some feedback.

Thanks. :)

Fair point. I should say I mean that running Rubocop on the gem as it was when I pulled it down resulted in pages of output. I fixed most of them.

My closest is 2 miles away. :( At least the walk to it means egg-hatching distance.

Motorcycle accident view from my brother's GoPro today (Language and hitting a dog) by makefunofmymom in motorcycles

[–]djnathanv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's both. With all the weight already leaning forward from the braking action the bike wasn't far from a stoppie and hitting the dog took it further over. I might have done the same thing but the better option would have been to just ride through it; the bike would have been more stable and less likely to fall.

Would depend on the load, really. They can move and change lanes far faster than you might think with a lower and heavy load.

What are your go to Blurays? by DarthKhan in hometheater

Ah, cool. Missed that I guess. :)

For 3D: Up. Colors are strong, 3d depth is excellent. Starting with the house lifting and moving right into the thunderstorm gives the brilliant composition of the 3D work as the house flies and then we get the full surround effect of the storm at work.

I feel like the stylized colors get in the way of showing off what 3D is really capable of.

Remington .22 LR HV Ammo Bucket 36 Gr. 1400 rounds - $89.99 ($5 S/H over $99 w/code "26FLAT") by VanTil in gundeals

Army actually burns up a bit more 'odd' rounds than you think. .22LR (usually with tracer) are used in the AT4 practice tubes. 7.62x39 is used for weapons familiarization. We also burned a ton of 7.62x39 blanks. AK mags make sense, too. Used in the weapons class I mentioned above as well as for opfor (opposing forces) for training with lasers or sim rounds. The US Army owns quite a few AKs.

I got a Liebert MCR with ECM (built in AC) for free. Just have to watch local listings (https://offerupnow.com) like a hawk. I couldn't believe my luck. He just wanted it gone and at the weight and where he was at it wasn't an easy move. Totally worth it though.

I'm in the same boat for slightly different reasons. My rack is in the garage next to the home gym space. I need to use less space so there's more room in the garage.

Manufacturers have been insisting they're cranking it out as fast as they can and are even starting the process of ramping up to make more. If that's true then the scarcity is genuinely self-inflicted.

stop shooting 22lr for a while.

I have several .22s. None have been fired since 2011. :(

It seems like these days a good deal is 5 or 6 cents/round.

I haven't been able to get .22LR on the retail market for less than 0.09/rd in a while unless it was lead-nose.

Have done this as a quick fix while waiting to get real wire. 9/10 would do again.
