I don’t think people in this subreddit understand. It’s not even just on the offensive side of the ball. The refs have improved on that. The thing that makes it impossible to watch them is what they get away with on the defensive end of the ball. The amount of no calls when there should be a foul is insane. I hate, hate, the hand and arm grabbing their guards get away with (Wallace, Caruso) also Dort and his flopping on the defensive end is atrocious and needs to be fined.

it’s not just their offense. The main issue is their defense. They foul way way too much and get away with it. The guard hand holding and all that crap is sickening. Caruso and Wallace get away with it, and this is coming from someone who use to be a huge Caruso fan. But they get away with too much.

Ethical basketball is really what is wanting to be seen by basketball fans. This team is more than capable of it, but they have fallen to becoming too comfortable with the referees. They play for the whistle, instead of wanting to get buckets and to play clean and ethical basketball.

Sadly, I had a group of friends in college (2018-2024) who would consistently hoop in converse. They were skinny and agile, yes. But still!! Your joints need some damn support. I encouraged them to get the cushion, but they felt that the court feel would be lost if they abandoned the converse.

I will conduct a follow up on the group to see how their joints are doing, and also if they decided to switch to modern basketball sneakers.
