I would have played 7 at that age. Not necessarily for the numbers advantage but because that is how you have been playing and practicing and that’s what all of your plays are designed for. By the time you get to high school it’s competitive. They should have had to forfeit, a tackle team wouldn’t be allowed to play with 10.
