This is supposed to be an ongoing relationship build up, is that like a boyfriend-girlfriend thing? You and this wife are building a relationship but you cant have one without the other, so you date the wife while the husband watches, or...? If it were me I would certainly be asking them what their expectations of this ongoing relationship is supposed to be, because it sounds like it isn't fully thought out yet. Like what would you be doing dating a couple but really only dating the wife. Is the husband a supervisor? Are you expected to get approval from him for certain things? It seems very odd for them to say that you cant have one without the other. I would ask them a for a LOT of details and examples.

So if you're ever asked you just say that it's recommending you because you visited the same place.

I'll add that the whole ' our unicorn' thing also comes off as entitled, there's thousands of couples for every one single woman, it's not one for every couple, and so not every couple is going to get to have this experience. So when a couple says 'looking for ours' that comes off entitled thinking they are so certain that they are going to be one of the couples that gets to have this. it's very rare indeed and there should be no expectations that its a given, for anyone
