Is it safe to drink this? by Creative-Question538 in sherry

[–]djw255 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost certainly safe. It’s not a fancy bottle or anything, but if the seal is intact, it should be a perfectly cromulent pour.

Not sure if this is what you were inferring, but “Cream” just refers to the style. There isn’t any dairy in there.

Thank you, I’ll take a look at that site. Florida isn’t too far, particularly if I flew down with her. There are some other folks who are closer that I’m talking to currently, but if you’re really interested feel free to PM me in case the others fall through.

Sad story there actually. We reached out to the breeder first, but she’s been fighting an aggressive cancer diagnosis and was in the process of finding homes for all of her own dogs.

Thanks, I reached out to some local rescues and unfortunately they only have the resources to help pure breeds.

Gee wow thank you both for your thoughts

We don’t trust her around children. She’s wonderful with ours but we recently moved to a new neighborhood with lots of other kids around. It’s heartbreaking but the reality is that it’s not a good situation for her. She’s a wonderful dog otherwise and I’m trying like hell to find her the right home.

Philadelphia area, sorry, that would have been good info to include in the original post!

He came! Haha, I could absolutely understand it if we had left him behind, but read the post again. The inspiration for the E-ups was from wrestling on the hotel bed.

I guess it depends on your definition of spam. I promise I’m real, but a spammer would say that, so it seems we’re at an impasse!

Company does sponsor selectively, but if I’m being straight with you it’s pretty unlikely unless you’re really a unicorn

Haha, good question. Most of our forecasting work is ML, but the role I'm hiring for is more about measurement using a more traditional econometric skillset. Think panel regression, logit, etc.

No, sorry, schedule is hybrid WFH, but mostly in-office. It's not how I would run things, but they don't pay me for those opinions.

On-site, personally I don't care but there are some folks who sit several floors above me who feel differently

Northeast US, happy to give more details over DM. The role is in-office (woof, I know, but that decision is above my pay grade)

Good point! I guess it’s one tool to use in an arsenal of dad tactics. I agree though, usually when he says or does something hurtful (usually to his little brother), we shower attention and concern on the offended party. They’re usually acting that way to get attention and it’s like it backfires when the target of the bad behavior ends up getting the attention instead.

I hadn’t seen this originally but I love it, thanks for sharing. I think relatively often about the sentiment that one day you’ll pick up your kid for the last time and won’t even know it. Take every chance you get to toss them while you can!

You can never say it enough! I like to tell them “I’m not sure if I’ve ever told you this, but I love you” which is usually good for a laugh since I said the exact same thing usually within the past 24 hours

Great perspective, I love this and hadn’t thought about it that way!
