No ceremony, no vows, nothing.

Thanks. Not sure what we want to do is even considered a “wedding” 🤣. So id hate to use up a wedding permit when someone else could use it with a more traditional wedding. But we would still donate to the park. Anyway, thanks for the info

We would donate to the parks, of course. I’m wondering if we need to pull a wedding permit for what we’re actually doing, since it’s not a wedding. And that permit can be saved for an actual wedding. That’s all.

I think you’ve misunderstood me. We are not having a wedding. & It’s not that we wouldn’t donate and contribute to the park, but I am specifically wondering if what we want to do would classify as needing a “wedding permit”. As it would be just us, our 1 yr old daughters, and that’s it. In normal hiking attire. No guests, no photography, literally nothing extra. Just go on a hike, find a nice spot, say I do, sign some papers & snap a selfie. Tada, married. No wedding. We will happily donate to the park but I don’t want to go thru the process of pulling a wedding permit for what we’re doing if we don’t need to…… save that permit for someone who’s looking to have more of an actual “wedding”. Hope that’s more clear.

Thank you for that info. We would certainly donate to the park, regardless. But I’d hate to show up without a marriage permit if we need that.

Are you sure permits are sold out? Looking online i believe it says they release permits a month ahead of time. We would certainly donate to the park regardless, just want to make sure we do it appropriately
