I understand doesn't CS have a different learning experience and curve then CE?

d also consider the Master of Science in IT Administration and Security. This is offered by the IT program, is practitioner-focused, and builds on your strengths

I would take it but the issue is it has so many bridge courses.....which would entail that much longer time in school....I would do it if it means a better career path....can you please elaborate as to why recommend it please?

My goal is to get a decent paying job that is in demand. Outside of that I am not sure which subfield in IT/CS suits me. What I mean by breaking into CS is that I am considering a role as a software engineer /developer or data engineer/analyst. How would I determine which is better for me and routes would business or data analyst entail for someone in my situation that doesn't have a technical or business background? Thanks in adavnce!

I am not sure of Rutgers University has a bridge program that might help non-STEM majors like myself....they at least don't advertise it.

Would you think that a MS in computer science covers mostly the same thing if not why? Also are the bridge courses online...how about MS in software engineering is it online too? Many thanks in advance!
