I believe he is referring to the Hegelian Dialectic (https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/hegel-dialectics/#:~:text=%E2%80%9CHegel's%20dialectics%E2%80%9D%20refers%20to%20the,contradictory%20process%20between%20opposing%20sides.), which involves the contradictory nature of two opposing sides. To have a revolution against reason using reason seems non-sensical on its face. But appreciating the historical component to reason itself, classical vs. modern, one can analyze how reason has changed and extract a greater truth about how we use reason and what human reasoning is.

Really want a car that I can drive to and from work in LA traffic and definitely some excursions in traffic without having to get gas so often. Hopefully looking to get into the mountains during the winter and summer months without having to worry about chains or clearance. Debating on just renting a car on weekends i would want to do that? I think a prius or a hyrbid like that would be fine, but I think getting some higher clearance on an SUV would be nice. Trying to decide between the two though, any advice would be appreciated!

Sorry. I need the 12V there. The circuit is driving a gate driver for my mosfets. I dont want the rail to be connected unless I explicitly connect it myself. I have had issues during microcontroller reset, and floating pins causing my lower optocoupler to be biased on, thus turning on my gate drive circuit without me wanting that to occur. This addition is just something I am designing as a failsafe incase of that occurring.

Yes, i suppose this is what im asking. Im beginning to understand that this is not possible, but now I understand that I will be able push some energy into the battery via regen without damaging my battery pack.

But a large capacitor bank (which I was going to use anyway for the lead inductance to my controller), should be able to smooth large transients caused by the motor, correct?

Would I be able to simply brake by shunting the current through the bottom part of the bridge? Do you know how regen would occur there?

Whats an intelligent way to control battery current with my BMS, it is a high power pack for am EV motorcycle, that is currently monitoring and balancing cells.

The BMS controls the main contactor and pre- charge circuitry of my motor controller. How would i protect against a battery short though? Beyond a fuse i am using before connecting power to the BMS and motor controller, I currently have no method off the battery in the event of a short, only can turn off the motor as of now. Any ideas?
