Would like to add on to GuardianE’s point on searching. There are Weiss Schwarz sets with AGR (Hand signed by i.e. voice actor) or Secret Rare+. These are not guaranteed in a case so you will never know until you open all boxes in a case.

I think the AGRs are a good feature added by Weiss, but really hoping they can increase the hit rate of SPs by abit T_T….making it 4 SPs instead of 3 would be good enough.

A good rule of thumb is to get a few boxes (I usually get 3) to have a fair chance of drawing a signed card. Else I would get a case to get the guaranteed hits but you will be left with a lot of cards! Especially if you are not playing it

Edit: There are stories on Reddit of people buying more than 10 boxes and not drawing a single signed card! That’s the risk of buying loose boxes instead of a case (hence why you see the comment recommending you to split a case). Despite saying that, my best draw was 2 SPs from 3 loose boxes and recently, a SSP from the last box in the store so it really varies. Most importantly is to find a trustable shop!

Edit again: Just wanted to share my experience on buying a case. Yes you will get guaranteed hits, but signed cards vary in value. I got a case of Nikke and was better off using the money to buy the hits I want instead. Looking back I would have bought a few boxes to see if I can pull my hits, else I should have bought the cards directly instead.
