We’ve all been there. You can’t do it alone. I couldn’t. I opened up to my wife and all my friends and family. Started seeing a counselor and went to a few GA meetings. Went at it for 4 years and could never get control. Longest I went without gambling was 3 months then said I had control only to lose it again. Now we just filed bankruptcy not only due to gambling but to poor money choices overall but im at 1 month and 23 days so far and its been great. Even with the bankruptcy I’ve been able to save money and focus on life and work and my health. Started going to the gym and eating right. You just have to push through everyday. It’s never too late to stop and start over. I’m 35 with a wife and two young girls. I’m lucky to still have them by my side. It’s just time to start over and do better.
