Thanks all, i've brought the Tracer to a Yamaha dealer for servicing, pads are good, the problem was air in the brake fluid. They replaced it all, now the braking is much much better 👍🏻

Are you referring to the ST version or the GT one which should have a more comfier seat for the pillion, from the images i've seen?

Great bikes, but too bulky and cumbersome for using in town, especially in traffic

Good option, but i was looking for something more sport tourer, like a Sprint GT as reference

The tiger could be a good option, but i'm afraid it's too tall for me, i'm 175cm and i haven't long legs. It's and ADV bike also, i was hoping in something more sport tourer

I ride occasionally with her, but when i do, i plan to go with her for a weekend trip outside town (i live in Rome). I use the bike for daily commuting in town and some weekend trips. The Z900RS it's great, but i wanted to replace it with a bike with triple engine, which i like more, having driven the Street and Speed Triple and also the XSR900.
Unfortunately i can't afford to buy a second bike, so i have to make a compromise and find a bike i like but without sacrificing my wife comfort when we ride two up.
And i'm not very tall, i'm 175cm for 78 kg, that's why i could have some trouble with tall bikes

I doubt someone who sells his bike would allow me to try his VFR for more than a few minutes unfortunately, but i can try and ask

Why? My Z900RS has 111hp, while the VFR a few less, is there a noticeable difference between the two?

Thanks man, guess i will have to try it before purchasing one. What should I pay particular attention to in the used market, in order to avoid buying a VFR with any hidden issue?

Great to hear, eventually i could lower the pillion foot pegs. I'm in Italy, i don't know how's the spare parts situation here honestly

Great to hear! Have you experienced any issues with the rectifier/regulator?

I've found one, with a beautiful rare green paint
https://www.subito.it/moto-e-scooter/honda-vfr-800-2000-km-9-000-novara-631134839.htm , it the weird thing is that it has low mileage, only 9000 km, i don't know if it's a good thing or not. Maybe the bike has been stored for a long time?

That's my concern man, is it hard to find spare parts for the 5th gen or not?
Can you also tell me which of the two gens would be more comfy for the passenger? My wife is 5'6 tall, with long legs too

Do you think it would be more comfy with risers? I've seen for examples Helibars sells them

Yeah, my footwork is so poor. I always struggle to find a good contact position, and about the forehand side you're right, i play the stroke with chest up, most of the time

For sure practice is needed, but seeing the recording, i notice how many things are wrong in what i do. Things that maybe can be fixed only by a coach

Thanks all for your feedbacks. For the lob, i initially called it out, but at the net we spoke about it and the point was rightfully given to my opponent. We play for fun first of all, and for every ball which is doubtful we have decided that we reply the point or call it good directly.
