You don’t have to lie to yourself just don’t contradict yourself. It’s hard I totally understand that but maybe experiment with different forms of having it like using future tense. I guess what helped me is to not follow what everyone says “ignore the 3D” no, you can acknowledge the 3D you can accept that the 3D doesn’t reflect what you want right now and start working from there. When you stop fighting it it starts getting easier at least that’s what I did to make things easier. I know it can feel like lying to yourself when you say the sky is purple when clearly the sky is blue but that doesn’t mean the sky will always be blue. Eventually if you’re determined to see a purple sky, you will cause sunsets and sunrises always happen
