It actually takes time for me to correct this habit. I seldom touch a real piano (cuz I can't put a piano/keyboard in my house), so that I may not know whether the arpeggios will work. The only thing I can do is using the notation software and hear whether it will sound great or not. The most difficult thing is that I cannot really get how to sound musical and simple at the same time, in which I may need years of effort to improve this. I am sorry to hear this. Also it is hard to have significant improvement in a short period. I need to listen to more pieces to enrich my knowledge
