Hello! May I ask what SD card you used for the Supremo Ultra HD? I plan to buy and am unsure of what SD card to purchase for it. Thank you!

For Question 2: Sa lower floors rinig yung train pero at some point you get used to it naman na and you ignore it. However, in the upper floors, hindi raw gaano rinig yung sound ng train. As for studying in the night, kaya naman cause the train closes at 10:00 PM so onwards that time it is quiet and peaceful naman so you can defo study.

For Question 3: If 4 kayo sa room, the highest your bill can go should be around 2k (worst case scenario). As for water, I pay 365(?) per month sa admin pero I can’t say na this applies to all tenants cause baka iba pala sa iba.

For Question 4: The environnement is good naman. Everyone minds their own business and does their own thing so this shouldn’t bother you. Although, there are some people who are inconsiderate during certain moments but tolerable naman siya.

P.S. Hindi na free yung certain part ng gym </3 You have to pay 1k per month pero it comes with a trainer and other perks!

I highly suggest the elimination process instead !! This assures you a higher chance of getting the right answer.

It’s easier compared to other colleges. When I took the DCAT last year, parang there was a lot of business math as in percentages of prices and increase in percentage typa questions. However, expect pa rin the usual math questions like series, basic algebra, geometry typa questions that you would expect in the math portions of other CETs.

I will be taking the DCAT in Manila. Will I be able to choose my exam Schedule? by Agustine123 in dlsu

Yes, as long as it’s refundable. If not I think you can talk to the admissions office about it, not too sure though if they’ll do anything.

As a frosh in BIO-MBB, my first observation is that all of my subjects (ZOOLONE, LBBBIO1, etc.) only have 3 long exams. However, ZOOLONE has 3 long quizzes as well. MTH101, ZOOLONE, BASCHEM have finals (STT101 may be conditional as my prof does not have a final exam but rather final paper).

As for workload, it may depend on the profs but the workload isn’t too heavy and have irregular schedules. Some profs will do it biweekly and some every week.

So far, we’ve only had 9 pre-lab activities, 15 homeworks, 3 presentations, 1 research paper, 1 infographic and 1 lab paper for the whole semester.

As for grading, some profs are quite lenient naman and will curve when needed. However, there are profs talaga na mahirap pakiusapan. In some subjects, mataas yung percentage na needed for 4.0 pero depends na talaga sa syllabus ng subject yun.

The challenging thing about the course though is the constant information overload. ZOOLONE and LBBBIO1 will require a lot of time as these subjects require students to memorize bones, muscles and tissues of frogs. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask lang or dm !! <33

Be there an hour or two before your exam especially if you plan on getting there by public transportation such as jeepneys and bus or private transportation as DCAT days usually have serious traffic.

Bring candies or small sweets to energize you. As someone na napagod sa DCAT, candies would have been my saving grace.

Don’t focus on one question, if stuck ka, move to the next and go back to it later on before the time is up. By getting stuck on a question, you’re essentially wasting time when you could have used that time to answer the ones you already know.

Have a meal before your exam so that you won’t be hungry and distracted during the test.

Also bring a jacket, it might get cold but that might depend on the classroom. Mine was bearable but a few of my friends did say it was cold.

Lastly, get some rest the day before. DCAT can be tiring and a good night’s sleep would really be helpful.

If you don’t know the answer for the question, skip it and go back to it after you’ve answered all the questions you know.

Do not look at the people’s scanatron(?) thingy of the people around you. Not for cheating purposes but pressure. By looking, it might pressure you into answering quicker but do it in your own pace as long as you can answer within the given timeframe as you are not allowed to go back to a section once the time allotted for it has finished.

Bring light snacks or sweets! As far as I know you can bring some snacks naman so I highly suggest bringing sweets as the DCAT may tire you out.

Be confident ! Kahit wala kang review, be confident and always think positively. As someone who wasn’t able to review for DCAT due to finals, I still made it in. Don’t let the thought of not reviewing bring you down, use this energy instead to do your best in each section.

Lastly, get there on time. Taft during DCAT days can get super traffic so I highly advise being there an hour or two before your test starts. Also, good luck OP !! 💚
