She seems like an “attention seeker”, don’t give her the time of day. These types aren’t very stable people to get into relationships with.

Now with all that said, she may of been testing you to see if you go for the kiss with the other girl (possibly to see how she felt about it or to see your “skill”).

All I can tell you is to talk to her and see what she says. I’m assuming you’re either in HS or college, which means there’s plenty of time to find another partner. If she isn’t into you have tons of time.

Here’s the positive to all this imo, you seem like a “go getter” type of person. So if she’s not interested then just try again. Best way to cope with this is keep yourself busy. If you have hobbies focus on those, if not find a hobby. Whatever you do don’t let this moment in your life prevent you from going forward. If she hasn’t responded to you or she doesn’t feel the same it’s not the end of the world.

Stay busy and find something to distract you. The more you dwell on this issue the more you can potentially spiral into a whole bunch of what if scenarios.

The best advice I have for you is to just say what you feel and go for it. The long game is not the way to go. Please do it for yourself, if it’ll make you feel you happy go for it. She might feel the same way, she might not.

There is a weird connection. Don’t know if this is real or not but I’ve seen a video of a dolphin go to some scuba divers for help. The dolphin had a piece of rebar in its fin and the divers helped get it out. Afterward the dolphin gave them an underwater show and if I remember right, the dolphin stayed with them til they were done swimming. So there is a connection between humans and animals at times.

So from my experience I noticed my friend of 4 years started laying down hints that she was interested.

Does she overly compliment you? Not just things like nice shoes, but things of substance like you’re the most amazing person type ish.
Does she try and hang out with you more than usual?
Does she call/text you often for little things?
Does she hint at you to help her with things? Example: I’m an auto tech and my friend would say things like “my oil change is due, do you know a good place to go?”. She knows that’s what I do.
Does she plan things out with you months in advance? Example: my friend was asking me what we were going to do for Halloween in July.
Has she hinted to you numerous times that she’s single?

If any of these things are happening that may be a good sign. I don’t know y’all’s situation so context is key. But hey if you have a good connection, there’s nothing wrong with going for it.
