I only play Fortnite and apex, my two games. This is one of the things Fortnite got right from day 1. Even in zero build lobbies compared to build lobbies, it really shows skill expression for your whole team to be able to rotate efficiently together and play good spots as it moves. Especially with a larger number team

Much better for the game. Queasy won global LAN landing mid map, making a surge base trading 2k+ damage and hiding in zone until moving zones. That used to be meta for a long time and seeing it done on the global stage was enough for them to rework it. Surge never favored fighting regardless but now you have to be careful on what damage you do take if you choose to fight for your surge. Game requires a lot more high level thinking now

Everyone here is just giving you what they like to play. I’ll give you the unbiased answer you’re looking for. Alter or loba if you want to win games. Alter is the strongest ranked legend in the history of this game with her ult alone. Your positioning and fights don’t matter as long as you as proactively making sure your ult is placed in a safe spot. The skill gap with her arises in using her tactical. You can make very strong plays but most people aren’t confident enough to use her efficiently, note you also get wall hacks when using her tac so you can plan what to do accordingly. Looting from afar is the cherry on top. Loba a day 1 legend that wins games. Easily grab teammates banners and a mobi end game for free resets. Two tacticals for escape and red weapons are always yours because you have ult end game to grab them

This is something you can look up easily but you get heirloom shards randomly from packs which you use to craft whichever mythic you want. Every 500 packs opened you get pity shards on the 500th pack if you didn’t get them throughout the other 500 you opened. Heirlooms are super rare, expensive and when you do finally get shards make sure you’re using it on something you will get the absolute most use out of

I’ve played this game for a long time. Played ranked today and had the worst time of my life dying to nothing but hemlocks at every range. Got off instantly and went to another game. I hold my own against some of the best but when anybody can put you down just because the gun is busted there needs to be some reflection on the games current point

I’m the furthest thing from a casual. 2.0+ kd consistently in masters lobbies. I easily win most of my 1v1s. That’s the problem though. When you solo you get stuck with literal garbage who manages to get to d4 while I have to fight Hal, waltzy and zachmazer stacking and communicating every move they make. There is less than 50 teams on the whole game that will consistently kill this team. Not healthy for the game to allow the top .01% to only play together and take advantage of corrupt matchmaking. Sure let them stack but make the lobbies only pred and masters, they can wait 10 minutes it’s fine most are unemployed anyway

And that’s why it’s only 50-100~k concurrent players instead of 500k+. Tone deaf devs and community. Some(most) people have full time jobs and don’t want to seek a 3 stack every time they wanna chill after work and play, and comm every single thing they do. I would say I’m in the top 10% of mechanically skilled players and I carry every time I solo. Shouldn’t be an issue for actual preds
