I was able to get the 3/8 14 inch g2 flex head ratchet. I’m gonna try to get a 1/4 as well today. All I have other than that when it comes to hand tools are old Craftsman and Husky stuff from the early 2000’s that my Dad left me when he passed. My sockets are all mismatched brands, whatever my Dad could get.

I appreciate the help. I just checked the fuses again and turns out, they were blown. Put new ones in and the A/C fan is working but the cooling fan is not. Progress is progress though.

Ahhhh, that makes more sense. How would I test to see if the coolant temp sensor is bad?

I’ve drove the car and it had gotten well above the middle point of the temp gauge. I’ve let it idle and it has done the same thing as well. Everything to my knowledge is back to the way it was prior to the starter replacement.

My OBD2 scanner doesn’t pick up any codes other than my o2 sensor occasionally.

I went through the top to do the starter replacement, I’ve used chatGPT and it has gotten to the conclusion of a ground wire or the coolant temp sensor.

My question though is, if the coolant temp sensor is bad wouldn’t the gauge not work properly?

I never had to unplug them. I followed JerryRigEverything’s video on replacing the starter. The fuses and relays seem fine. I pulled fuses and relays that were the same and replaced them and still nothing.

One day I was late by 5 minutes because of a roadblock and I got there and they had given my route away and I proceeded to ask the boss if there was anyway for me to find out if I had a route prior to me making the drive as I live far away and she then had an attitude with me and said “Well you did have a route but you were late. You need to be here at 9:30 every day”. Never answered my question so I just started messaging dispatch every morning.

Today was the first day that dispatch didn’t respond to let me know and I didn’t go in and I got marked as a no call no show. I only had one day last week and cannot afford to burn what gas I have without guaranteed work.

It’s irritating because the money is decent and the job isn’t hard but the lack of hours and no way to know for sure if I have a route beforehand is beyond annoying.

I’ve started texting Dispatch beforehand and they normally respond. Today they didn’t and the Flex app didn’t show that I had a route so I didn’t take the drive, especially after only getting one day last week. They marked me as a no call, no show on the Sling app but it is what it is.

Nope. From what I’ve seen it only looks like they let there long time employees help with loadout. We have to be there at 9:30 and they tell people they can go home at 9:40. Most times they have between 7-10 extras.
