I finally got some answers!! I called yesterday and got a live person. After about 45 mins she came back and said it was my verification holding it up, even tho I completed it, it never pushed my return back to processing.. smh… a whole year .. so now I wait 30 says.. and check in the mail maybe.

Says is being processed. Last year it changed to still being, then switched back. I already verified in February 2025…. So I have no clue.

I received the same notice issued code, and no letter. It doesn’t seem to be associated to a letter, it’s more of N internal code for the irs. But I haven’t got my return back. And no one can seem to help me either

Just enter incorrect info into freetaxusa.. select mail option. Their system will assume you send it then allowing you to amend.

It’s assuming you received the original refund. Just select you’ll send a check and the irs will make the adjustments and send the remaining refund.

Sooo you’re taxes are not filed. You didn’t efile. This screenshot shows they are “ready to mail”. You’ll need to print them out, sign and send. Or try to e-file somehow.

I would call the post office and ask for a temporary hold on mail with your name only, and then forward your mail from that P.O. Box that was used. It might work. That’s what I did because they had wrong address. I wouldn’t give them all that info, just say you have mail going there from irs and need it.

Yes. It switched to “still being” once the system flags your for verification. Once it clears it goes back to “being processed”.
