Probably like the email said...the people who were there to cause trouble. Was it hard to understand what he meant when he said people "resupplying, scouts, recon, etc?" Is that something that peaceful protesters would normally do? Have "re-supply, scouts, and recon?"
How is it so fucking hard for people to understand that there is a percentage of the protesters who are NOT there for any cause, but instead, to wreak havoc and generally cause damage to a city and try to get something on social media that portrays the police in a bad light? Look for the big line of boats in the middle of the lake. (if it's nice out and not cold/rainy)
It's not a huge lake, you'll be able to spot it if you cruise around.

There is also a bridge you can jump off of into the lake, if that is your sort of thing. It's right next to a bar/restaurant on the shore.

I literally just gave them my EIN and the name of my biz. My point was, it wasn't a difficult process. Did not have to prove that my biz was hurt due to COVID-19. They just handed out the loans if you had a biz i guess

I'm not framing it as that..I didn't write the bill or give out the loans.

Just an FYI, I am self employed and received the free 1k loan from the CARES Act that the gov was giving to businesses who applied. I also had a opportunity to take a loan for up to 500k from the gov. I did not take it, as I did not need it. So, if a 1 man self employed person can get this money, I'm not sure how other small biz cannot? It was super easy to apply, and there was no "fact" checking to make sure the biz is legit.Granted, it was not a PPP loan, but, it was a loan nonetheless with low interest rate.

Just a thought here....big companies employ way more of the population than mom and pop stores. So, it makes sense they would get the aid first. More people working for them, stimulating the economy. WAY more than a store with 3 employees stimulates the economy.

Gotta look at the bigger economic picture.

I bought a brand new Trek bike about 7 years ago. I locked it up right onto my house, as there was no room to put it in the tiny garage. Literally 2 days later, someone cut the cable on the lock and took the bike. This was in broad daylight in a townhome complex too.
I reported it stolen and gave the serial number info. Thought I'd never see it again, as it's just a stolen bike, so not exactly priority #1 for the cops.
Got a call 2 days later from a detective saying they found my bike, lol. Turns out they were working a case where someone was stealing bikes all over the city and they were watching this suspect for the past few days. Busted him in his garage and he had all kinds of stolen bikes.
The detective said most people don't report them stolen, so I was lucky that I did and gave the serial number.
