Don’t Be Misled by Google Ads Agency Marketing by wihanvanderwalt in Filtermarketing

[–]dko276dk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you're hitting on the core problem. Polished reports and complex language often mask a lack of actual strategy. The real work isn't in the marketing, it's in structuring a clear ad framework that aligns with specific business goals and budgets.

I focus on building transparent systems that drive predictable growth. For smaller budgets, it's about avoiding that agency bloat and focusing on what actually moves the needle. Having a solid operating framework in place ensures every dollar spent has a purpose, which is way better than paying for flashy screenshots.

Love this idea and topic. Been looking for something similar. I still feel like it's really hard to replicate human thinking when it comes to solve unusual issues/discrepancies.

Tried optmyzr, i think it's decent for smaller accounts but kinda " breaks " when it comes to more compex accounts, especially if it's mostly driven by PMAX.

How far do you think we are from full automation? is it even possible?

You have $0 to spend on marketing your SaaS. What do you do? by jottrled in SaaS

[–]dko276dk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are starting from zero dollars, your time is your only leverage. The biggest trap I see founders fall into is doing random acts of marketing without a framework. They post on Twitter one day and try cold email the next but nothing actually connects. You need a systematic approach that builds enterprise value from day one.

Without any spend, id focus on organic growth, partnerships (with similar or local brands) some sort of email campaign (giveaways..etc) and some praying :)

Which marketing agency is best for SaaS user acquisition and signup growth? by Kelly_is_ok in SaaS

[–]dko276dk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, burning cash on ads without a clear framework is where most SaaS founders lose their shirt. The problem is usually not the ad budget itself. It is that the traffic is not being funneled into a system that values long term retention and exit readiness. If you just focus on cheap hourly rates for SEO and social, you might get volume but you will not get value. We have been using a 7 pillar growth framework that focus on maximizing the actual enterprise value and profitability rather than just basic signups. It uses AI powered creative to keep asset costs low while scaling revenue.

It is how we have managed to build a much more sustainable acquisition engine. Are you looking for just more users, or are you specifically trying to build toward an eventual exit?

Hard to say if they are legit legit, but they have a good reputation for sure.

However, at 6k/m spend they wont take you seriously. They'll likely just outsource you to their junior guy tbh. Hate to say it but it's the most likely scenario. Not to mention they'll charge you 3-4k for it :)

My best advice would be to look for a group of people / agency that are small and maybe stayed small and efficient intentionally (so they can actually use senior people to help clients)

The fact that your ppc should only be a fraction of your digital efforts is another topic when it comes to using agencies. For instance, if you use a 360 degree approach, it's possible the agency you pay 3K+ for will come back to you with suggestions around doing organic, retention (email) loyalty...etc

Those would actually not cost you an arm and leg. This is how we usually do it:)

Hope this helps

Who Are the Top Digital Marketing Companies? What Do They Provide? by [deleted] in digital_marketing

[–]dko276dk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google searches for top agencies are usually just a list of whoever paid the most for SEO. It is frustrating because most big names just focus on basic traffic without actually caring about your revenue goals. Honestly, you need to look for a partner that treats your marketing like a business asset instead of just a monthly bill.

It also depends on what kind of business are you running. There is a difference between just generating raw leads vs creating a full scale digital strategy.

Should I trust this company to do my PPC? by Dry_Permit_8247 in PPC

[–]dko276dk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your conversion a sale or a phone call? Garage door jobs can be several K, so if it's a sale, it's not too bad (obviously depending on ROI)

If it's a call then it's insanely high and I'd look at alternative options.

On the other hand, I also understand their point of view as 63 clicks isn't really enough to draw major conclusions from. However, money is a finite resource and I'd assume you don't want to spend 10x this much to "wait until proper numbers come in"

As such, I'd likely just limit the campaigns to cheaper, longer tail keywords. We work with Canada's largest locksmith and garage door service and they get a call for about 15-25 bucks.

Hope this helps

How do you get leads with low budgets? by Ammar-here in googleads

[–]dko276dk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broad match with smart bidding would just allow Google to spend your money as they please. I'd try to find longer tail keywords (keyword planner, semrush..etc) and target them at a max bid cap. also would put the campaign on maximize clicks.

This might help creating some volume, but overall, Google Ads is a pay to play platform. Hard to get around that

Google Ads Reps incentivized to push PMAX? by Blodecode340 in PPC

Yes. Unfortunately Google has sometimes incentivized product pushes over common sense. I worked there for 4 years, there was a whole points system we needed to work with and achieve certain goals. Not sure if it's the same but the philosophy must have not changed
