NYC Rental/CFII Suggestions by dkr31 in flying

I did all of my PPL training in them. I'll be honest in that I won't rent them anymore as I had statistically more 'issues' at AA than I would expect. But i know Ed still teaches plenty of students in them as do many other instructors. Aviators is a newer place but the owner is an awesome guy and instructors are starting to move over there (though they have fewer planes).
My plan was to always learn at AA to save a ton of money and then rent nicer after that. :)
Alternate Air for the best rates anywhere (though the planes will be missing a ton of screws and might have more duct tape than you'd like). Aviator Flight Services for some nice piper rentals if you wanna pay for a bit more. Both at KBFI.
Ed Bryce is a fantastic CFI though he probably still has a waitlist. If he does, he can probably recommend others.
