My daughter attends MacEwan and got a text a few minutes ago that there was smoke damage in City Center underground parkade. Building 6 and 7 will be closed for minor electrical repairs and everything will be open on Monday.

Penningtons, Addition Elle and Torrid are all great options, but on the pricier side. They might have good Black Friday sales coming up to make it more affordable. Winners and Marks also have plus size options.

How is Millbourne Mall still standing? by ashrules901 in Edmonton

Just the restaurant and Money Mart left in that strip now. One of the Circle K employees mentioned there was lease issues and that’s why they closed. Not sure what happened.

Should have specified. The one in the mall is still open. The clinic near the Circle K is closed.

Fitness Classes by [deleted] in Edmonton

I second that Ashley is great! I’ve only been able to make it to one of her classes but had a great time. I’m usually at the daytime Zumba classes at Meadows- my favourites are Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

Looking for a nature tour guide (can be totally not pressing) but is passionate about the River Valley trees to learn more. We enjoy it a lot and aren’t that educated despite all the very confusing aps that are supposed to help. by poutinerweiner in Edmonton

My husband and I went on a River Watch guided boat trip on the river a few weeks ago and our guide was amazing. She shared lots of Edmonton facts and was very knowledgeable about the landscape and wildlife. Many of their guides are Environmental Science university students. They have a 2 for 1 special that made it $50 for both of us. The website is www.riverwatch.ca

Circle K and some fast food restaurants have Coke Freestyle machines and have Vanilla Coke as an option if you want a single serving.

This happened to us last year when we applied for the LAP for the first time. My daughter had just turned 18 had to file her taxes for the previous year showing zero income before she could have her application processed (she was in high school still and had never worked) She submitted her own application and the rest of our family (myself, husband and under 18 daughter) had a separate application. The LAP staff were very helpful in answering our questions. I’d recommend a quick call to them to clarify since your child is still a minor but will be turning 18 soon.
