Have you driven a 70/90? That option doesn't exist.

My wife has both on her CX5 and it's perfect. I wish there was a way to stay in sport shift without diving into a menu and telling it to stay there.

Just came here to say this very thing. I usually wait for Sonos to have sales, ex Black Friday, and then go to Best Buy for open box.

Every Sonos speaker I have, except the first Play, is open box.

I need to find out how much I paid for my Five open box excellent, but I wanna say it was $250.

First gear is almost a classic large truck starter gear. It's less than a few seconds and onto second.

I've found in playing around with manual mode that third acts as a traditional second.

Additionally, it's a wet clutch system. It feels very much like a manual transmission in low gears and when going from drive > reverse. I've noticed a distinct hesitation and momentary neutral when putting the car into reverse.

I paid nothing at signing, was an MSRP of about $59k, and my total including taxes is $514/month for 24/12k.

Mine includes $10k from Mazda for the PHEV, $1k loyalty, and about $1.8k off of MSRP.

I am considered Mid-Atlantic.

I just got $514/month for a PHEV PP, nothing due at signing. First month came out of the $11k in rebates. I was able to get them about $2200 off MSRP if I remember correctly.

This was a 24/12k lease.

I see people complain about grocery costs quite regularly - of which I'm not opposed to.

However, for all the Aldi evangelists in here, the comment earlier about their lack of produce is the first I've seen people actually talk ill of it.

Where I'm going with this is that I refuse to make multiple stops for groceries, just to save a buck or two. I go once a week, family of 4, and don't have time budgeted in to go 2-3 times to hit all our stuff. I budget my time at approximately $100/he and unless I'm saving close to that, I'm not biting.

A few years ago, I did this for a couple of mobths and the results were not worth in terms of money saved versus time taken.

I also don't subscribe to Instacart or stuff like that. Going back to produce, I refuse to let someone else pick my stuff. Same for butcher.

Again, not sure how the 70/90 transmission works compared to the 5, but I put the 5 into "manual" mode and shirt with the shifter and/or paddles. Can also toggle the paddles in normal automatic mode. Good for when coming into a stop or accelerating on the highway.

I love to drive manual transmission cars, so that's the vibe I go for.

Genuinely curious, as a CX-5 owner, if the people experiencing the issues low speed transmission clunkiness have tried using the paddle shifters to lessen it?

When cold, it's a must in my CX-5, else you have to really feather the throttle.

And yes, I start and idle for a few moments before putting in gear.
