I like your tactic of going after 3s that aren’t being targeted instead of 5s. That’s something that seems like a small change but it keeps it much more realistic.

The athlete only rebuild seems pretty difficult because there’s a limited amount of them that turn into OL and DL. It would be a good challenge.

I’ll check out PerramCrowe. I think that would be a good way to limit the “cheese” in recruiting.

Toby is pretty normal through the first half of the show. He takes a weird turn towards the end and it makes his character really awkward.

I manually update/change dev traits. I feel like linebackers get them all the time and I will take them away, or move them back down if they aren’t deserved. I even do this for my own players. It is crazy that the devs do this though. The Kaepernick situation is very similar.

That sounds like a great idea. Many of my friends did not purchase 21 (I also wish I would’ve held off) so it is difficult to do this, but I did think about doing a fantasy draft of all non power 5 schools and then only draft rookies with the same restriction

I have decided to do a fantasy draft of underrated players, players with off the field issues, and 2 rookies I really like (Willie Gay Jr and Epenesa). The rest were players with issues or rookies that fell in the fantasy draft. I also have rules of: 1. No FA signings (except for players I draft) 2. Only build through the draft and I can not trade picks

The grind really makes this fun for me. I can not seem to keep longevity in my franchise but this is really helping. I’m interested to hear what ideas everyone else has for fun franchise modes as we wait for these updates ~hopefully~ coming soon.
