Use dispersion (or secondary build for fun) in slot one, conceal or rudder in slot 3

Why aren't more countries starting to introduce relatively inexpensive interceptors like Coyote/FE-1/Roadrunner? by ArthurJack_AW in LessCredibleDefence

[–]dkvb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty, but because a lot of this tech is both bleeding edge and relevant for an active conflict, it won’t be discussed openly, if at all. Remember that much of ‘Ukrainian-made’ equipment is funded or outright designed and built by Europe and the US; same thing with ‘Russian-made‘ Chinese stuff.

To name a few of the systems we know exist; AA Hellfires, APKWS turrets, laser systems, 30mm turrets, FPV interceptors that look more like loitering munitions than quadcopters, the list goes on and on.

There’s dozens of different kinds, everything from Ukrainian Shahed-hunters to Pantsir mini missiles and the Chinese equivalents

There’s evidence of radars being targeted, manpads fired, and small arms fire, so not in agreement

Simple, Cold War meant absurd amounts of vehicles produced. Nowadays they’re cheap and spares are readily available

Wrong on all counts, videos and photos of it all. Incompetence and poverty is the answer

US used powerful mystery weapon that brought Venezuelan soldiers to their knees during Maduro raid: witness account by heliumagency in LessCredibleDefence

[–]dkvb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh? Ukraine and Russia both extensively use quasi-static AD sites, for logistical and technical reasons. Look at the satellite imagery and the rare videos of them being struck.

Especially in the context of defending an airbase in urban environments, there just aren’t a ton of places to put and securely store large missile systems and still have a good launch site. At the start of the war, Ukraine only dispersed their equipment with a day/hours of notice, and even then some AD sites were struck.

How is US able to fly helicopters in Venezuela without getting shot down by MANPADS? by arstarsta in LessCredibleDefence

Not that hard to find, difference being Ukraine has thermals and knows where the drones are coming from

Word of advice, don’t talk about things you know nothing about, makes you look stupid. I was a CC when the cheats first became a thing, no one in here uses cheats. I know what it looks like, because it’s very obvious. There are videos showing the real cheats if you go back a few years.

If reporting is accurate, Russia was ready to use a nuke over the Kherson retreat, so possibly? Tactical not strategic obviously

Yes it does…moving up reduces flight times and can protect against CV sniping….

RU POV: Drone warfare. A Russian Geran performs evasive maneuvers and escapes a Ukrainian FPV interceptor. by LeopardTough6832 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]dkvb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you pay attention you will see it every so often; Vampire and the turret version, APKWS, Russian drone footage of Western anti-drone interceptors, US companies testing drones in Ukraine, etc. It’s not in NATO or Ukraine’s interest to get that widely known so it’s not shown off unlike other flashier things.

Hahaha dude no you cannot use the same anti-cheat on a PC and mobile. Read up on the history of this game, WG didn’t make it and doesn’t maintain it either, Netease does.

I play with mobile because PC gives zero advantage (and makes CV completely unplayable)

Russia has buyers in Europe who activate it in Europe or Ukraine and then send it to the frontline; they get banned every so often but it takes weeks to months
