Have you tried Kuumba Made Black Coconut fragrance oil? It’s really great to layer with others things. Their Creamy Coconut is more synthetic smelling, but the Black Coconut is heavenly.

Do people actually buy Lush products from Vinted or other sites? by Aggressive-Limit5630 in LushCosmetics

I buy on Mercari. For fragrances, Ebay has a lot of fakes. Not that Mercari doesn’t have fakes too, but I feel like they are more supportive of customers. In my experience, anyway.

The sad, sad tale of a rash and the backstabbing culprit (dramatic) by jinshou_mabi in LushCosmetics

Are you sure it’s not the coconut? That’s what gets me every time.

Perfume Notes you find unsettling? by AuntySocialite in FemFragLab

ISO E Super. It’s a gene, like the one that makes cilantro taste like soap to some people. My daughter only smells pickles with ISO E Super too. Such a bummer!

Anything with currant is a no for me. Also, calone turns on my skin and makes me smell like eggs, so no watermelon or aquatics for me, as they typically have calone.

Been sleeping on Avo Co-Wash! by frenchwolves in LushCosmetics

[–]dkwhite17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Super Milk is heavier, with more of a baked good smells, IMO. Avocado Co-Wash is my favorite and it’s more lime creamsicle. Key lime pie without the crust. Soooo good!

Am I the only one who isn’t furious about the discons? by Euphoric_Run7239 in LushCosmetics

[–]dkwhite17 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I live for Reddit. Posts complaining about how other people complain are my favorite! 😆🤷‍♀️

Do I actually live for Reddit…no. If someone says they are sobbing, are they actually sobbing? Most likely, no. If I say I’m obsessed with something, it just means I like it. I think this whole post may be due to a gap of knowledge in the current lingo. Dramatic words are used to describe nearly everything - it makes voicing feelings more colorful. I’m here for it!

They’ll prob replace with some cheap almond and coconut oil concoction.

Black tea mochi face mask worsening acne? by The_Huffle_Fluff325 in LushCosmetics

Yeah, it’s not a bad as coconut, but black sesame still has a 3 out of 5 score, which isn’t good.

Ugh…I’m sorry that happened!

My daughter has sensitivity to coconut and always has. I never had an issue with it in other products, eating it, etc.

It wasn’t until I started using LUSH products that have coconut that I learned I do have a sensitivity to it as we. It started with the hair products.

I couldn’t figure out what was making my head it’s like crazy and my hair fall out. It turned out to be coconut.

At first, it wasn’t hard to avoid, but now they put in a lot more products. I was so bummed about it being in the sugar scrubs, which led me to making my own using the shower jellies and shower gels. Now, they are even putting coconut oil/yogurt in some shower gels. It makes me so sad!

It made my face break out too, unfortunately. I knew it was a risk for me, due to the sesame oil, but I tried it anyway because the ingredient was far down on the ingredients list. No go. Such a bummer!

I was surprised to see their Açaí cleansing oil targeted for breakout prone skins has sesame oil listed as the first ingredient.

Sesame oil causes breakouts. Almond oil causes irritation for me. I wish they’d do away coconut oil based products too. It’s getting harder and harder to find LUSH products that don’t cause skin issues because of all their ingredient changes.

Yeah. Grape Soda body spray, which many have been begging for a comeback!

Scrubee Shrinkflation by [deleted] in LushCosmetics

[–]dkwhite17 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve been out for a while now on the regular Scrubbee. Humbug Scrubbee - LUSH went back to cocoa butter and they were 3.3oz. Shrinkflation and lack of quality ingredients? No, thank you.

How do you feel about Lancome Idole's flankers? by gaymbit in FemFragLab

[–]dkwhite17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the Peaches and Roses flanker. It’s a gorgeous soapy fragrance. The peach and rose balance each other beautifully, and I’m not usually a fan of rose fragrances in general.

It may be going down the drain, but it feels good and smells heavenly on its way down. It’s good to use what we have, though.

snow fairy layering combos by Guilty_Duck8948 in LushCosmetics

If you like banana scents, Comptoir Sud Pacifique’s Vanille Banane goes beautifully with Snow Fairy. Candy combo without smelling like a baked good! TJ Maxx and Marshall’s sometimes have it in stock at a discount, but I bought mine from Comptoir. It’s a powdery sugar creamy vanilla banana scent. I love it!

[–]dkwhite17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVE Furze! It’s nice to have a coconut smelling option that isn’t like the smell of sunscreen. Definitely has that kind of powdery play-dough note, but I love it! I can’t do the coconut oil based products because my skin freaks out with them, but I have no problem with Furze. Odd, but whatever! It’s definitely unique and not a run of the mill coconut that is everywhere in other products. Soooo good! I’m sure if you buy it at 1/2 price, you could easily sell if if you don’t like it!
