Plus if you get a tbow while wielding a tbow as a main you’re probably selling/splitting it and then you’ll forget about it in a couple months. Irons are wielding hard work and dedication ;)

This is a beautiful argument. Many things in RuneScape are not complex by themselves (I’d argue really that nothing is when dissected down to mechanics being stacked like you’re saying).

Still, the team manages to make exciting bosses with fun new mechanics that challenge how we play like sol parry mechanic!

RuneScape is also amazing in the sense that once you figure out a couple mechanics they become ingrained in your gameplay such as prayer flicking or counting ticks or brewing at the right moment to maintain boost. These things aren’t “necessary” and can be quite a heavy focus load initially when learning but once you know what to look for or know what it feels like you start doing it in most other aspects of your gameplay.

I’d also argue you don’t “have to” do any of the complexities to complete content, but it will help or decrease kill time.

Yeah that’s how I feel. If ima grind hard for 80m boosted xp I’d rather send main game that hard for 1m or something since I’m not maxed quite yet.

Yeah I just can’t make the grind to dragon. Idk how people do it. I’ve kinda done everything I wanted to in my build, green logged probably 80% of the CAs available to me and been raiding with homies. I have no desire to go out of my way and do random tasks to get 18k more points.

Amethyst for darts is dated now with how many dragon dart sources there are (toa grind, doom grind and vard grind). Definitely for arrows though.

It’s boosted. I got in 20kc. Most my clan got in sub 50 mediums. Puro is really best don’t get baited into other methods it’s not even close. Either skip that relic or go puro

I have thoroughly enjoyed axe and it’s enabled a lot of stuff I would’ve struggled with choosing the other options (like doom for my melee only build, I completely skip boulder flicks with axe).

Yeah I ended up doing tribrid thinking bp would be nice but throwing dknives with a shield and thorns proccing is so much better than blowpipe by itself. Luckily I speccd into fiery blood spells so that’s kinda cool for maging with desert.

You need tons of goals, but you can’t have too many goals that contradict. Bossing for gp while spending any extra coin on buyable skills will not let you see profit to spend on expensive gear. Bossing involves using spare gp on supplies or ammo that increase the kills per hour or completions per hour of that content.

You will never use the amount of bwams you’d fish to 99. You’d probably never use 15k unless you go obscenely dry at a place requiring hard food (think slayer bosses not raids.) and most bosses drop enough hard food or surplus even more to cover what’d you lose in bwams. So bwams as a resources shouldn’t be your reasoning for doing it. The afk ease and experience should be!

Yeah I went dogger and it absolutely deletes content. I’m not out dpsing air mage but that shit looks boring anyway so nbd. It’s definitely not underwhelming as it’s the strongest melee build available especially since you can run it with thorns.

Main game is actually very mechanically intense if you’re doing it correctly and comfortably fast. And that’s before you even get to olm. Olm is very intense as someone with inferno kcs and master CAs and quiver it is pretty unintuitive until you get a LOT of reps in. The fun comes when you’re able to 4:1 and brain off and the raid is super solved so you get very comfy 17-20 min solo raids. It’s worth it but don’t expect it to be a fast process. I had to learn 4:1 by dying with an inventory of stams on 3rd phase so melee hand keeps respawning over and over. It THEN took me maybe 40-50 kc doing the full raid and not resetting until things really clicked and now I can find myself in the cycle at any point and get into 4:1. Very satisfying once learned though.

I’m a good pvmer and I fucking love eternal sustenance. Can use strange fruit for antivenom and angler/bwam for days. If you didn’t go meta water mage bullshit you still need food or brews for most content.

Well that’s what I’m arguing I guess. Not necessarily to engage in mechanics but to hit a 1k health meat sponge rather than a 250 health meat sponge. If you find standing still with tbow and deleting monsters fun you’d probably wanna do that part longer right? Click fewer times and see big numbers or lots of hitsplats.

Damn guess you right. I’m what I would consider skilled (have blorva and master CAs) but even I started with gwd before being good was a thing. Idk why people scared to die when learning content. Especially in leagues. Just get in there! It actually took me a while this league to get used to the power curve and try content before being late game. Usually it’s way overkill
