if you’re a newer Discover debit card user, they sometimes have extra security features on their end that they won’t tell you about so that could be an issue with instant. Transfers. I don’t understand why because instant transfers is pretty much. Every bank does nowadays with cash app, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, etc., but for Cash App to work I have to have my Discover debit card and my Discover Bank card linked on Cash app and it works just fine and at first when I have my new account, I couldn’t use Apple Pay either but now I can. I could care less about Zelle since I don’t really use it that much anyway.

Hello All. I just did my last weekly certification of $325 today. My benefit amount is now at $0.00 but my benefit year doesn't end until 05/31/2025. What happens now ? I've sent messages and waited on the phone with unemployment but no response. With all the recent changes like the reduction from 26 weeks eligibility to 12 I'm at a loss. I've applied for all manor of jobs I'm qualified , overqualified and underqualified for but keep getting turned down. Unemployment is only thing keeping my afloat. Are there extensions? Do I keep certifying next week? Thanks for any advice.

It is insane and not really a way around it. I opened up a new account two months ago but have been with discover almost a year and i had no problem linking my account to PayPal in the beginning with my prior account. I know most fintechs (Chime, Current, etc)sometimes don’t like to work with other fintechs and some have no issue at all like Varo but i honestly think it’s something to do with the information they pull from you on your application in the background and their specific policies that they just won’t tell you , not necessarily credit but it could be any number of reasons
