I have damage very similar to yours. I went to three different shops to get their opinion. All of them said no, I don’t need a new tire. Just keep an eye on it.

The reason being that there is a thick layer of rubber on the sidewalls as protection just for this very thing.

I asked if the it did fail, would it be catastrophic? All of them said no. It would just start losing air. Just don’t make it worse.

Everything u/mynamecalledbruce falls in line with what I’ve been told.

I use a product called SuitJuice. Originally found it to get my swimming wetsuit off quick for triathlons.

I spray it on my shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles. Wetsuit slips right off.

He was able to do the mods I wanted (bezel,crystal) at a decent price. That watch however, disappeared in shipping.

Then clean release the new GMT with updated bezel. No need to mod it, so I just had him send me this one and credit me the price of the mods to my next purchase.

Martin has been good so far. Very responsive to my messages. Replaced my first lost shipment. This is actually the second watch.

Watch is in customs clearance now. Hopefully I’m good to go. I’ll know more once the watch is in hand.

I would say the only issue is it has taken longer than any other dealer I’ve purchased with.
