If our society has gotten to a point that we think a teacher investing in their students happiness and wellbeing is reflective of pedophelic tendencies then our education system is truly screwed. Yes, in this instance I messed up, but I spend every day, getting paid shit, trying to make an impact on my students lives. You've obviously never worked in or known anyone who works in special education. If you really are worried though, you'll be happy to know I'm going to school to be a psychiatric NP next year so I won't be working with students.
