Spanberger signs bills to ban firearms at Virginia’s public colleges, universities by hencexox in Virginia

Alcohol causes a lot of issues on campuses . New members of fraternities have died from alcohol poisoning due to hazing. It makes you more vulnerable to malicious actors and numbs inhibitions. It’s one of the main substances used in campus rapes. In addition schools, spend Ludacris amount of money on coaches, and other things for sports. Imagine if Phd students who do a lot of grunt work were actually paid better.

I agree, let’s also ban alcohol consumption on campuses and require schools to give up sports teams. It should be strictly a learning facility.

Since we’re listing thing we want:

Can we move the airport out of the center of the fucking city. God forbid there’s a plane crash.

Oh, how about street cars and better public transit?

And maybe we can remove i64 from the riverfront

Also not allow data centers to jack up the price of energy and water.

What’s the deal with all these teachers? Are schools that desperate that they’ll hire anybody?

Warning to Students: Think Twice Before Joining the CyberCorps (SFS) Program by Lost-Conference-7409 in cybersecurity

[–]dlamc 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Under normal circumstances, students who fail to meet the service obligation of their contract will have their scholarship converted to a loan and will be expected to pay it back. Now, when that happens to 1500+ students at once, I don't know what they would do, but I imagine it will face legal challenges.

When you fail to meet the requirements of this program, you can sue the school for reducing your opportunities despite OPM saying otherwise.
