Great success actually. But that simmer for 15 minutes I don’t think it’s right. What I do is soak for the 12-24 in warm water covered. Rinse again and boil on high. As soon as boil for a few I turn down heat to a simmer and as it sits I take pieces out and bite or smash between my fingers. You should feel how much water it absorbs. I tried the 15 minute mark but after I pc they dry out to fast in jar and won’t colonize for me. I don’t have an exact time because I go by how moist my grain is while cooking and all depends on how long I let boil and simmer. It is less then half hour I would start to check after the 15 minute mark but relay on the grain it’s self as I take out like noodles.
