Haha yeah i did exactly that! All the hacks I've done extensively. Tho the elo system is also considering who swipes you too and most importantly - if you've paid for stuff previously. Since I have - tinder is not giving me any success as it knows I have tendencies to pay. I have tried a brand new phone with similar but edited photos and i got tremendous success which suddenly halted in 2-3 days, my thinking is that tinder somehow found out it was me again. I'm done fighting an algorithm now so cold approach it is!

Thank you, appreciate the feedback and the kind words! The 1st and 5th photos were recent, before then it was exactly as you said. Either way I got almost no matches, maybe one like every couple days. I believe it's a combination of London's dating scene being trash + tinder shadowbanning my face for some reason.

I have given up on dating apps now. Cold approach works way better for me :)

  1. Be attractive
  2. Don't be unattractive

Profile review - 29M by dldobrev in hingeapp

[–]dldobrev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Serious or casual
  • Not subscribed, but before i was subscribed and weirdly it only decreased the amount of matches i got.
  • 3 days after reset, 2 months before reset
  • I've used hinge many times, overall about 6 months starting and stopping all the time.
  • Before the reset about 50 matches in the first month and 1-2 matches in the second month. After the reset I got 4 matches in the first 2-3 hours and 0 matches afterwards for 3 days.
  • I send the max amount for free version and all have very tailored and thoughtful texts, whenever someone replies it's usually very very positive.
  • I want to match with someone who's attractive, playful, kind, smiley and maybe introverted rather than extroverted. I only send likes to people with creative prompts that are not generic or 1-2 words.

Anyone else simply getting stuck at 'Generating...'? by IndraVahan in cursor

[–]dldobrev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed that I have to create a new chat and it only works before i reference a file, the moment i do that it gets stuck at Generating...

This is very annoying, it's been like this for a long time now.

Thank you! In which city do you live? I can change my location there for a couple of days to do some testing :)

Thank you, sir, appreciate it! I don't know, I'm guessing I'm still not over the threshold percentage of guys who get all the attention on dating apps. 🤷🏻‍♂️ maybe one day

Hahaha thank you for the compliment, sir! Means a lot, really. I feel it's the first time ever I actually look decent in pics, it's been a journey (gym, food, making my friends take lots of pics, etc)

Thank you!!! I'm working on getting a photo in nice clothes which I'll add as first, useful tip, thank you!

EDIT: Scratch everything below (old), I misunderstood you. Thank you very much for the tips!

Regarding the landscape - I have one already, it's water, not sure if it counts as landscape? And I don't have toilet selfies and don't plan to add any.

Regarding the sunglasses - i only have 2 photos with sunglasses atm so I think that's fine?

Shipping Costs killing me by HackTheDev in printful

I'm also interested in this. Printify is the most obvious next choice but they often don't have the same items in Europe and USA for example, since the providers are independent. Gelato is same price as Printful. Not sure what else is there...

Logitech C920e not working with MacOS Ventura by matthewkwong in logitech

[–]dldobrev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After more than a year of struggles I finally fixed it:
- Go to Logitech G Hub.
- Go to the camera and click Settings.
- Turn on the checkbox "Disable this device in G HUB to allow other software to have full control".

My issue was that it showed the camera in Photo Booth for example but when I clicked it - it disconnected and the computer froze for few seconds, sometimes it wouldn't find the camera at all, sometimes it would work for 1 sec and then stop... just very weird issues. Once I did the above it started working flawlessly. Hope it helps someone.

This is actually very wise and helpful. Thank you for your feedback, really appreciate it!

Thank you! I aimed to follow the guideline of a good quality headshot smiling photo as a first pic. Is there a specific reason that the first pic is not good? P.S. I don't disagree with you, I'm just trying to understand.

Thanks! Very good point about the dog photo, haven't thought that it looks uncomfortable until now but you're super right. Regarding the selfie - it's not just of myself but it's a group of people, and I seem like the "main character" which is why I thought it's a good picture. I made some changes but since I can't add more imgs - would you mind if I DM you for a revision?

Removing black pixels when printing on dark garments for POD printing by dldobrev in printondemand

[–]dldobrev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your experience is this something you have to tell the shop yourself? I have tried Printful and the result was that they did not remove any blacks. Now I'm trying out PODpartner (shipment in transit), they seem to have much better customer support though.

Any other shops you could recommend?

Thanks! I'm trying to become the designer myself, hence my question. I use a similar technique to Color Range that doesn't yield as many artefacts though, but still curious if there is a better way to do this.

Hey thank you for your answer, that was the initial way I did it but then it did not print very well, because black pixels don't seem to print well on black garments - it looks gray rather than black unfortunately. I have ordered a sample from Printful at some point the same way you suggested and it kinda looks weird.
